We are a vocational school for catering and tourism. It offers extracurricular classes in music and dance. The school is situated in Tortoli on the east coast of Sardinia in a poor area, both from the economical point of view with high unemployment and wastage rates, and from the geographical point of view because of the lack of connecting roads which makes movement and transfer in and out of the island quite difficult. The school hopes this project will encourage the development of a sense of belonging to the local, national and European community by establishing cross-cultural relationships through music.
