- Objective 1: prepare a repertoire of eight traditional songs from each participating country that will be studied and mastered - Objective 2: create an interactive website presenting all relevant information gathered during the project implementation period - Objective 3: encourage and motivate students and teachers in language education - Objective 4: produce a final concert, encompassing the success of the intercultural dialogue through music The subjects we intend to address are: - Cross-cultural dialogue amongst different ethnicities through music - Accept and understand the diverse cultures represented in European society - Language variety in Europe - Team-building - Sharing individual talents The approaches we intend to take will focus on the fostering of unique communication between the students and teachers from each institution. The interactive website will be the main tool for promoting intercultural communication prior to the meetings. During the exchanges, students will be able to express themselves in a way every person can understand, stemming from a shared appreciation and love for international music by creating a hymn. Our objectives of friendship, understanding and respect between the eight different cultures will be achieved by encouraging the studying of each language, the learning of traditional songs, creating cultural portraits and a cultural guide during the project as well as producing concerts during each visit.
